New HPV Numbers Don’t Look Good For Gardasil

Merck’s Stat-Spinners looking for a way around two key findings from a new study in JAMA that puts Merck on the defensive. The drug maker has already alienated the public and some federal agencies by pushing politicians to create state mandates for its Gardasil vaccine for pre-teen and teenage girls, even though the disease isn’t communicable by casual contact. Chastened by a furious backlash, Merck subsequently backed off.

TX Governor accused of conflict of interest in vaccination order
